Robinhood launches AI agents for market research, strategy, and trade execution
Robinhood introduced Robinhood Agents, letting retail customers build AI agents inside the platform to research markets, develop trading strategies, and execute trades. Users select an AI model and provide instructions; the agent then acts autonomously within the brokerage workflow.
WHY IT MATTERS
Retail brokerages are handing agency to AI; this normalizes autonomous trading agents in consumer workflows and raises compliance/liability questions as algo execution scales to millions of small accounts.
