Mistral raises €3B in record EU funding round, valuation hits €21B
France-based AI startup Mistral closed a €3 billion Series D (approx. $3.5B), led by Samsung, Scaleup Europe, and PSG Equity. It's the largest equity raise ever by a European tech company. Sovereign AI (non-US models) is now a scaled business.
