Anthropic introduced Enterprise Frontier Safeguards following complaints from business users about data storage and review practices. New system gives enterprises granular control over how their prompts and outputs are retained and potentially used for model improvement.

Signals frontier labs are fragmenting enterprise trust policies. BFSI customers will demand contractual guarantees against proprietary data ingestion into model training. Expect LLM vendor agreements to bifurcate: standard (data used) vs. enterprise (data isolated).
