Commerzbank enters takeover talks with UniCredit after months of resistance
Germany's Commerzbank, after resisting UniCredit's advances, has agreed to merger negotiations. UniCredit, Italy's largest bank, has been pursuing Commerzbank to expand its European footprint and consolidate operations.
