OpenAI co-founder Brockman assumes full product leadership after Simo's departure
Greg Brockman, OpenAI President and Co-Founder, formally took control of the ChatGPT product business after Fidji Simo departed due to medical leave (initiated April 2026). Brockman has de facto run product since April; this formalizes his authority ahead of prospective IPO.
